YouTubers recently expressed their disappointment over the handling of the flight by Indigo Airlines. Popular podcaster Prakhar Gupta recently expressed his disappointment over the handling of scheduled flight by IndiGo Airlines. He said he did not receive any email regarding the change, but only a “minor” text message early in the morning.
He wrote in his post, “How can you change the flight time and preset it, 2.5 hours before the 4am flight, expect me to be on time, and then when I arrive at the new time 5. I get there minutes late, you don’t let me check my bag in and ask me to pay for a new flight?”Prakhar Gupta further said, “I did not receive any email, but a small message today at 4 am that my flight time has been changed from 645 to 630, and you have closed your check-in counters as per 630 ?”
In the next post, Mr Gupta claimed that the ground staff was very rude to him, forcing him to move from one counter to another to resolve the issue. He continued, “Your staff was rude to me and my co-passenger, accusing us of filming when we weren’t filming, because I politely asked them the same question—they were two hours from the flight. How can you change the flight time and charge me extra?”
She also criticized the unprofessional behavior of the staff and said she caught them “playing very distasteful private voice messages to each other on speaker phone and laughing obscenely while ‘solving’ our problem”.
Prakhar Gupta further said that the airline charged him Rs 3,000 per ticket for the new flight. “And the language of the solution is questionable – the lady literally started with ‘Sir, the actual charge for this change is Rs 40,000 (not more than the original ticket Rs 15), but I will charge you only a minimum price of Rs 3,000 per customer’. 90 per cent Exemption? Without me asking?” he wrote.
Prakhar Gupta concluded, “Everyone tells you to go to the next counter, so that your anger and genuine frustration can be vented. You waste my time, you take more of my money, but there is no one to take accountability.” Doesn’t dare.” In response to the post, the airline said, “We are currently looking into this and will contact you soon to resolve the matter.”
